Château Cazeau

There are records of the domaine’s existence as far back as the 16th century and it has long been used for vine growing purposes. Château Cazeau is a magnificent Gironde chartreuse situated in Gornac, one of the oldest roads in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. The vineyard covers more than 300 hectares of land and is planted on clay-limestone soils on the hillsides. The planting ratio is divided between red and white varietals which are carefully adapted to the terroir in order to bring out the very best of what each varietal has to offer. The vineyard is cultivated with the utmost care and attention is made to traditional winemaking methods: restricting yields, harvest selection process, long maceration periods in order to extract the highest quality tannins possible and rigorous blending to ensure an exceptionally high quality wine. Numerous awards over the years attest the the expertise involved in the difficult and meticulous art of wine making.

‘Château Cazeau produces subtle and seductive reds, whites and rosés. The wines offer an enticing aromatic palette that reflects the very best of what this unique terroir has to offer.’
